Mr. Karlheinz Kopf, Second President of the National Council of Austria at ADA University

On April 2 Mr. Karlheinz Kopf, Second President of the National Council of Austria delivered a lecture in the framework of Global Perspectives Lectures Series held at ADA University. The theme of lecture was "The Future of the European Union”. For his role as Second Speaker Karlheinz head has set a goal to not only act as point of contact for all Members and all factions, but to put above all democratic political points. By reinforcing elements of direct democracy, and greater involvement of civil society, is intended to create a new understanding of parliamentarism, and at the same time the population to be re-excited for democratic political issues. In addition, he is chairman of the EU Sub-Committee and the European policy and the implementation of Parliament renovation a big concern.
